Our Mission
Hope of Motherhood Foundation Inc. exists to walk beside mothers and families with dignity, compassion, and hope throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.
As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 42-2739262) based in Orange Park, Florida, we provide practical support, education, community connection, and compassionate services during one of life’s most delicate and transformative seasons.
How We Walk Alongside Mothers
Through our six community services—Motherhood Community Clinic, Hope Boutique, Breastfeeding Support Circle, Waves of Hope, Frames of Hope, and Bundles of Hope—we support mothers and families through limited pregnancy and postpartum services, breastfeeding support, prenatal diagnostic ultrasounds, maternity photography for mothers experiencing a hospital stay, donated maternity and baby clothing, and newborn essentials.
Each of our services may look different, but they share the same purpose: to help mothers feel seen, supported, connected, and cared for. Whether a mother comes to us for pregnancy or postpartum support, breastfeeding encouragement, clothing and newborn essentials, or simply to have a community that understands the journey of motherhood, we want her to know she does not have to walk it alone.
Our mission is simple: every baby clothed with dignity, every mother uplifted with faith and hope, and every family embraced with community and compassion.

Our Story
Hope of Motherhood was created by María Galarza, founder of SonoHope and a registered sonographer with more than 20 years of experience. Known for her gentle hands, compassionate spirit, and faith-driven mission, María has dedicated her life to serving mothers and families from the very first heartbeat.
Her years of working closely with expectant mothers gave her a firsthand view of both the beauty of motherhood and the moments when families need greater support, compassion, and community. From that calling, Hope of Motherhood was born — a place where mothers and families can feel seen, supported, and surrounded by hope.
What began in María’s heart has grown into a shared mission, bringing together people with different gifts and experiences to serve mothers, babies, and families throughout the community.

Hope Team
Hope of Motherhood is guided by a team whose unique experiences, shared commitment, and faith-centered heart for service come together to support mothers, babies, and families throughout our community.
María Galarza, founder of SonoHope and a registered sonographer with more than 20 years of experience, leads with a heart devoted to serving mothers from the very first heartbeat. Oswar Nieves, an award-winning maternity and newborn photographer behind Oswar Photography, captures the strength and sacred beauty of motherhood through his lens. Bringing years of maternal and birth care experience to the team are Jessica Lakey, LM, CPM, of North Florida Midwifery & Homebirth, and Sandy Simoneaux, LM, CPM, of River City Birth Services. As Florida Licensed Midwives, they have both spent more than a decade walking alongside families in Northeast Florida through pregnancy, birth, and the tender days that follow.
Together, this team is united by one calling: to remind every mother that she is seen, valued, and never alone.
